World Food Day is approaching! On the 16th of October DCDD, We Are Able! and LandAc are organising a parallel session on Disability Inclusive Land Rights during the Annual Netherlands Food Partnership WORLD FOOD DAY event<\/strong>.

We are happy to invite you to join this side-event on disability-inclusive land rights! Discover how ensuring land rights for persons with disabilities can help achieve Zero Hunger. Get insight in the barriers persons with disabilities face in accessing land and how these barriers can be overcome. Expect interactive activities, insightful presentations, videos and discussions<\/strong>.

Come and join the World Food Day event in Amersfoort<\/strong>! <\/span>This year\u2019s edition of NFP\u2019s WORD FOOD DAY event offers a dynamic program packed with activities including expert speakers, talk shows and presentations on trends and solutions shaping the future of food systems.<\/strong> Right after the Disability Inclusive Land Rights workshop there will be a plenary closing session followed by drinks and time for networking.

‘POWER OF DISABILITY INCLUSION’ SESSIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
This session is part of a series of learning sessions on disability inclusion called ‘Power of Disability Inclusion<\/a>‘<\/strong>, organised by DCDD as part of the We are Able!<\/strong><\/a> programme, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the series, we share tools for disability inclusive programming, facilitate in-country connections and foster the exchange of experiences in inclusive advocacy. The tailored learning agenda is based on insights from all participants.

FOR WHO?<\/strong> <\/strong>For Civil Society organisations that receive funding from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, anyone interested as well as participants from the DCDD network are also invited to join. 

WHY?<\/strong> An important part of strengthening civil society is making space for and amplifying the voices of persons with disabilities to be heard in society as well as in the design of development programmes. In collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we provide a platform for CSO partners to convene, exchange ideas and experiences and explore the most effective ways to make disability inclusion happen.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
