Partners<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"underlined\">Six organisations are working together: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoa-international.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ZOA (zoa-international.com)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/africandisabilityforum.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">African Disability Forum<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seeyoufoundation.nl\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SeeYou (seeyoufoundation.nl)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vng-international.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VNG International<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/thehagueacademy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Hague Academy for Local Governance <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leprosymission.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Leprosy Mission International<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Why We are Able! was established<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We focus on people with disabilities who do not have access to basic services, people who are excluded. We aim to strengthen their voices and resilience, so that they can stand up for themselves. We involve them in legislation and policy, and we work together with local organisations and Organisations of Persons with Disabilities&nbsp; (OPDs). To promote dialogue between people with disabilities and authorities, we work with formal and informal authorities at the national and international level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Approach We are Able!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We connect with initiatives in the Netherlands to learn from their experiences. Furthermore, all the organisations deploy their own expertise. They strengthen the capacity of organisations of people with disabilities, local inclusion advisors, and advocacy groups.
